BTTC Players Win U19's and Under 13's at South Yorkshire Schools

The South Yorkshire Schools Competition took place on Tuesday 8th February at the English Institute of Sport Sheffield, with 6 players going from Barnsley Table Tennis Club. Oscar won the under 13's group, beating some very good players who also play in the Sheffield Junior League. We then had an all Barnsley final, with Ben and Thomas making it all the way. The game went back and forth all the way to the fifth set, where Ben beat Thomas in a thrilling final. Ben will now take part in the national finals in Wolverhampton on Saturday April 2nd 2022. 

Once again, everyone at Barnsley Table Tennis Club is very proud of the achievements of our young people. This is just the start of many competitions and tournaments. As we like to say, keep working hard!
